This is a key role within the Commercial Finance team for EE. You will be expected to take the lead from a finance perspective on Commercial reporting and base management, articulating the key drivers in an insight-driven manner to guide decision-making. You will influence and shape commercial outcomes to ensure the business hits its financial performance targets. This role will support the Head of Broadband Trading finance with exposure to Director/MD community. What you’ll be doing Lead on commercial reporting and analysis of Broadband, including inflows, outflows and re-contracts. Business partnering support for the Commercial Trading & Planning teams. Ownership of the quarterly outlooks, rolling forecasts and longer-term base management. Finance interface into the Commercial team, influencing the future trading direction. Ownership of robust performance tracking, ensuring performance can be correctly measured and aligned to the P&L outcome. Lead on commercial reporting process for Broadband and point of contact on articulating commercial performance drivers. Align on robust, interlocked financial targets to underpin Budget and rolling forecast processes. Developing and taking ownership of base planning models to highlight longer-term trends across all Consumer brands. Identification, quantification and mitigation of risks that may arise as a result of both internal and external factors. Ad hoc commercial analysis / impact assessment of market impacts and commercial decisions. Ability to think “outside of the box” and consider multiple perspectives to identify clear commercial, cashflow and cost opportunities. Skills Required Advanced data skills – enhance value reporting across functions, and able to manage complex large data sets. Exceptional business partnering skills, ability to quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships, with a proven ability to influence and coach and be prepared to challenge. Ability to co-ordinate and align plans across multiple stakeholders, processes and decision making forums. High level of commercial acumen, having the ability to quickly understand new ideas and how they impact the business financially, as well provider suggestions on how they might be improved. Communication skills - translating complex financial outcomes to senior financial and nonfinancial stakeholders through both oral and written communication. Ability to tailor message to the relevant audience, distilling key messages without losing the appropriate level of detail. Excellent knowledge of finance, covering a breadth of activities and best in class practices. Experience Required Experience required planning & forecasting and financial business partnering.
