December 2024 South West Heritage Trust wishes to appoint an appropriately experienced business planning consultant to support its National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) Second Round delivery grant application for a significant engagement project linked to the recent acquisition of the Chew Valley Hoard. This is an exciting opportunity to help develop an NLHF bid for an innovative heritage project to engage local, regional and national audiences with the treasure acquisition at the Museum of Somerset, in the community and online. Submission of the NLHF delivery grant application is targeted for May 2025 and we are seeking applicants who have the flexibility to commence work in December 2024. The South West Heritage Trust is an independent charity which provides heritage services across Somerset and Devon. We run two Archive and Local Studies services and three museums, including the Museum of Somerset, and look after Somerset’s historic environment, including over 400 acres of historic landscapes.
