Business Planning & Reporting Executive

in London Chiswick Key Objectives and Expectations

The planning role is crucial to the success of accurate forecasting across a dynamic new categories industry in the UK. The monitoring and reporting of marketing initiatives, industry evolution, market share & volume in a timely and accurate manner will be at the forefront of the responsibilities within this position, whilst striving for simplification of processes to improve demand forecasting accuracy. Impact of the Role

Demand planning is a central function for the UK market, reporting to Western Europe Planning within the Revenue Growth Management area. Our responsibilities are to execute a robust marketing planning process, from understanding market initiatives to determining volume forecasts and identifying risks and opportunities along the way. We deliver high quality and accurate reporting for the Western Europe area, representing UK as an intelligence hub for the Area leadership team, brand marketing functions and end market commercial teams. No Your Key Responsibilities

Collaborating closely with commercial functions to understand marketing initiatives to determine volume growth opportunities. Development of high-quality bottom-up forecasts within new categories, covering industry trends, BAT share performance, marketing initiatives, price drivers and more (24 month horizon). Clear articulation of assumptions which stand behind forecast and on-going tracking of actuals performance target level. Constant improvement of forecast accuracy, which drives mitigation of write-offs and out-of-stocks reduction. Actively participating in monthly sales planning process via bringing BAT sales forecast and performance overview to Demand Review Meeting and Sales & Operation Planning Meeting. Run pre-alignment and follow-up sessions with cross-functions (Trade, Brand, Activation and Supply Chain) to ensure the forecast captures the most accurate understanding of trends and BAT marketing efforts. Keeping leadership team well-informed on performance levels vs set targets via accurate and on-time regular reporting, in and above market. Maintaining the organization of information worksheets and documents. Utilizing Kinaxis platform to drive efficiencies in the forecasting process. What Are We Looking For?

University Degree. Strong Demand Forecasting or Business Planning experience ideally in a commercial setting (e.g. sales or marketing). Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Notably Excel & PowerPoint). Experience with Kinaxis, BI, Powerbi, Nielsen or similar. Strong communication and presentation skills, with a capability of building compelling narratives supported by facts and figures, to a wide variety of stakeholders. Able to prioritize tasks, managing workload and working under pressure. What We Offer You?
