Are you a Business Studies and Economics Teacher? Do you have a passion for education and teaching young people? If so, this role could be for you! Zest Education are looking to recruit a Business Studies and Economics Teacher for a secondary school in the Staffordshire area. This role is full time to start February 2025 for a minimum of one term. The school is looking for an experienced Business Studies and Economics teacher to plan and deliver high-quality lessons across KS4 and KS5. A successful applicant will be passionate about their subject while wanting to work collaboratively with the departmental team. One fundamental principle the school lives by is to enable every individual to fulfill their potential by ensuring academic skills and personal development go hand in hand. The ideal candidate will have: A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS A strong passion for the subject of Business Studies and excellent subject knowledge across KS4 and KS5 A team ethos and desire to be part of a strong team environment The ability to plan, mark, and deliver high-quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements). Strong classroom and behaviour management Be confident in using ICT in their professional role Zest Education is an REC audited agency and is dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years, and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum). The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
