Step Teachers are seeking an experienced Business Studies Teacher located in Norfolk commencing in February 2025. This full-time position is for 1 month initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion. In a rural location, this school boasts an 'outstanding' rating from Ofsted and places a high value on fostering the intellectual growth of students and staff. Your duties as a Business Studies Teacher: Plan, teach, and assess Business Studies lessons at KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5). Develop engaging and relevant curriculum content that encourages students to explore the world of business. Create an interactive and stimulating classroom environment where students can develop key skills such as entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and critical thinking. Monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and identifying areas for improvement. Foster students' understanding of business theory and its practical application in the real world. Support students in preparing for examinations, coursework, and other assessments. Contribute to the development of the Business Studies department, including curriculum design and extracurricular activities. Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success. To be considered for this Business Studies Teacher position, you will: Hold a relevant degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Have a passion for business education and a strong desire to inspire students. Possess a sound understanding of the Business Studies curriculum at secondary level. Be able to deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that cater to a range of abilities. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching. Be organized, creative, and adaptable in meeting the needs of diverse learners. Have experience teaching Business Studies at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5 (desirable but not essential).
