We’ve an exciting opportunity to join us as an administrator within the Business Support Team that administers the UK Government authorised Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS). This regional role involves collaboration with our DPS Contact Centre, Billing, Dispute Resolution, and the Financial Crime Unit teams. No two days are the same! You’ll be responsible for daily processing of work within the team, responding to emails, letters and liaising with local authorities and other tenancy deposit schemes in writing with the occasional call. Your role will involve various tasks, and here are some examples of the interesting areas you’ll be involved in: Court orders, bank transfers and payments, anti-money laundering, investigations of bankruptcy/liquidation cases and tasks within the DPS Insured scheme. Key tasks include, but are not limited to: Answering queries from clients and colleagues and providing accurate guidance Review decisions and making payments accordingly Accurately producing documentation and reports Achieving service levels, working to departmental goals, and adhering to strict deadlines Supporting the Business Support Team Leader with delegated work This hybrid role offers a Monday to Friday, 35-hour working week with a salary band of £22,500 - £23,000. You must live within a reasonable commuting distance from our Bristol office on Bridgewater Road, BS13 8AE. What will you bring to the role?
