If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Apprentice to join our company. What we are looking for: An enthusiastic apprentice who will work under the direction, guidance and supervision of an experienced mentor to support the delivery of excellent refurbishment, repairs and maintenance service, whilst working to achieve a number of skills and qualifications. Accountabilities: Receiving inbound calls from customers/service users Sending and responding to email communication Logging and investigating repairs Completing assignments – apprenticeship (2 hours a day provided towards working on assignments) These assignments will be customer service based and will often, where possible, relate to the work they are currently doing within their job role. Who are we? MPS has been caring for residents’ homes for over 25 years. As part of the Mears Group, we offer partnership solutions and expertise in estate management and property maintenance. Delivering a range of property services, including reactive repairs and planned and cyclical maintenance services to over 100 local authorities and housing providers nationwide. What you need to have: Functional skills in both Math and English The ability to learn and develop a thorough knowledge of the skills, technology and safety procedures required to carry out the full range of tasks The ability to understand and interpret work instructions Be able to establish and maintain good customer/client relationships All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK; Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
