Systems Development:
Lead the development and testing of business systems across the councils. Collaborate with various services to identify, design, implement, and manage systems and business improvements. Project Management:
Lead ICT business systems and data intelligence projects, utilizing project management methodologies and ensuring benefits realization. Stakeholder Management:
Advise senior managers on the implementation of new products and technologies, ensuring informed decision-making. Technical Expertise:
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of services to ensure technology aligns with delivering effective and automated outcomes. User Support and Training:
Support the training of users in relation to business systems, data, and information, fostering a knowledgeable and capable workforce. Team Leadership:
Lead and coordinate the business systems team and analysts, building a strong and integrated function that can respond to the needs of both councils effectively. Who we're looking for
Proven experience in business systems management. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to align technology with business goals. Excellent project management skills, with experience in leading ICT projects. Ability to advise senior management on technology implementation. Strong communication and training skills. Leadership experience with a track record of building and managing effective teams. Other requirements
This role requires some travel around our boroughs. You should have a valid driving licence or the equivalent mobility. Our Benefits
