My client is a leading manufacturer and maintainer of Automated Weighing solutions and is looking to hire a Business Unit Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their site in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will have a team management background, experience working in a manufacturing/engineering setting, experience implementing processes and KPIs, and will be based locally to Chesterfield.

Business Unit Manager Position Overview

Work with and liaise with the Service Manager and service team leader daily to ensure all targets are met. Work with and liaise with the Service Sales Manager daily to ensure all financial targets are met. Ensure scheduled service contract KPIs are kept up to date and service visits are planned in accordance with the schedule. Minimise contract losses by managing contract accounts and carrying out contract reviews with the allocated internal or external contracts manager. Ensure that the required spare parts for depot repairs have been ordered by service administration. Work with the compliance officer to close out any C.A.R reports relating to service work. Ensure that service department profits are maintained, invoicing in real time with weekly targets met.

Business Unit Manager Position Requirements

Proven team management experience. Previous experience working in a customer service-focused setting. Experienced implementing KPIs. Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment. Proficient in conflict resolution. Based within a commutable distance of Chesterfield.

Business Unit Manager Position Remuneration

Salary £45,000 - £50,000 DOE. 33 days holiday inclusive of public holidays. Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00. Private Medical. Pension.
