Management of the Polish BU team, ensuring that the team has clear assignments, roles and responsibilities. Acting as a mentor for the team, helping them grow and develop new skills. Establishing regular checkpoints with the BU team and conducting the annual performance review together with the UK management team. Aligning to Reply Polska requirements and expectations in terms of work organization and team support. Implementing and overseeing the development of our eCommerce platform, ensuring the use of best practices and high standards of code quality. Collaborating with cross-functional teams of engineers, software developers, and architects to design, plan, develop, refactor, test, and deliver new features. Performing and guiding peer code reviews, providing detailed suggestions for fixes and improvements. Developing and maintaining unit tests as an integral part of the software development process. Interacting closely with product owners and product management teams to review and implement proposed designs. Shaping the technical direction of the project, making critical architectural decisions. Qualifications
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). At least
5 years of development experience. Experience managing a team of at least 8-10 people. Experience with project management and delivery management methodologies, waterfall, scrum, agile, etc. Significant experience in software development with backend development programming languages, particularly Java. Experience with Python and Golang is also highly valued. Extensive knowledge of best practice software development design patterns. Proven track record in web-based application development using the Spring framework, Java, and JSP. Experience working with SAP Commerce (nice to have) or any other eCommerce platform based on Spring and Java. Strong communication and collaboration skills, allowing effective management and guidance of a team of developers. Good communication skills in
