The

Lead Business Value Consultant – Value Realization

is a strategic role within the

Professional Services

function, reporting to the Director of Professional Services. This role focuses on accelerating customers’ time-to-value by guiding them to achieve their business objectives through Flexera’s Technology Intelligence solutions.

Role Purpose

Helps Flexera’s largest and most strategically important customers build and execute value-driven strategies.

Ensures customer retention, growth, and advocacy by aligning their goals with Flexera’s offerings.

Acts as a mentor within the Professional Services function, contributing to organizational knowledge and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering best practices, strategic advice, and Flexera software expertise in fixed-price service packages.

Driving measurable improvements in customers’ business processes, particularly in ITAM, SaaS, and FinOps practices.

Supporting pre-sales activities by outlining value propositions and uncovering cross-sell opportunities.

Building long-term trusted advisor relationships with customers, expanding software adoption, and identifying upsell opportunities.

Contributing to Flexera’s community knowledge base and strategic initiatives focused on customer value.

Mentoring team members and providing specialized product training linked to customer value realization.

Required Skills and Attributes

Expertise in technology domains such as ITAM, SaaS, cloud management, and FinOps.

Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and critical analysis capabilities.

Advanced project management, resource management, and financial acumen.

Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.

Proven ability to lead complex customer engagements and mentor team members.

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industry experience, including consulting and customer engagement.

Experience managing multiple customer projects across domains like ITAM, SaaS, and cloud.

Certifications such as FinOps, CSAM, Prince2, ITIL, or Flexera-specific training are advantageous.

Behavioral Competencies

Demonstrates emotional intelligence, adaptability, and resilience in challenging situations.

Excels in collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentoring, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.

Strong business acumen with the ability to align individual activities with broader organizational success.

Proactively identifies and leads strategic initiatives to drive Flexera’s market leadership and customer value.

This role is critical in driving Flexera’s value realization strategy, ensuring customer success, and strengthening Flexera’s reputation as a market leader in technology intelligence.
