SHEQ Advisor

who would like to help us reach our mission to earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service. As the SHEQ Advisor your key responsibilities are: Working with managers and employees to promote a culture of safe working practices across the Group. Provide coaching and development to effectively influence, promote the importance of, and continually improve BUUK safety culture through Work Safe | Home Safe and overall, SHE performance across the group business. Collate, investigate, ensure effective closure, and report upon incidents, hazards, near misses, and SHE non-conformances raised from safety incidents and audit findings. Undertake construction team site visits. Completion of premise safety audits and inspections. Keep up to date with new legislation and any developments that may affect BUUK. About you: Experience of managing risks within a utilities environment or NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Good knowledge and understanding of all aspects of Safety, Health and Environmental requirements and related legislation. Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to produce reports, presentations, and other written material to a high standard and tailored to different audiences.
