The Role

GIS has an exciting opportunity for a C# Software Developer to join our growing multi-disciplinary engineering team based in North Cambridge. Our C# Software Developers are involved in a wide range of projects across product development, printer head drivers, ink systems and larger additively manufactured electronics (AME). You’ll work within the engineering team across hardware, software, mechanical and logic teams to prioritise features on customer applications that strengthen our links with end-users and integrators. As well as, developing our bespoke modular software suite to manage the entire data path from image to print.

You’ll be challenged, but you’ll learn, develop, and grow with some of the best in the industry, delivering quality products that revolutionise the way our clients approach printing and providing solutions to the most complex printing questions.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework.

Extensive experience with development of UIs using WPF.

Proven experience in developing REST API-based client-server applications.

Comfortable with thread-safe and parallel architectures.

An ability to work flexibly to deadlines and able to manage technically detailed requirements on multiple projects.

Enthusiasm for technology and evidence of self-applied technological learning.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Use of MVC / MVVM design patterns.

Knowledge of network programming (HTTP, TCP/IP, Sockets).

Experience with inkjet printing.
