Reed Engineering are seeking a Cable Assembly Technician to join a company who are looking to expand their team. The company supply a range of cable assemblies to meet the demands of the growing underwater technology industry, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in soldering and the ability to test and design electronic components. Location: Aberdeen Day to day roles may include: Work closely with the production team to support the assembly and wiring of production jobs Adhere to quality standards by following set procedures Inspect work and report any production errors Perform soldering tasks and work towards achieving IPC-620 standard (training will be provided) Utilise test equipment and fixtures as required, maintaining high-quality standards Take full responsibility for personal health and safety Required: Experience of soldering and electronics Experience in a manufacturing environment Understanding of technical drawings Good attention to detail Apply today and we will be in touch to discuss the role further.
