Are you ready to kick-start your career in engineering and power solutions? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our Critical Services Division as Cable Installer / Load Bank Operator. This hands-on role is essential to the installation and commissioning of temporary Loadbank testing equipment. You’ll work with experienced engineers on Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) applications, supporting projects and service division within our organisation. You’ll be attending high-profile client sites and travelling across the UK and Europe to fulfil your roles and responsibilities. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills and build a career in engineering. Key Responsibilities:

Installation and maintenance of LV / HV cables. Organise equipment and pre-delivery inspection ensuring all items are correctly loaded/unloaded. Assist engineers with on-site installations and loadbank operations. Ensure all work is carried out safely and to high standards. Work at various locations across the UK and Europe, representing AVK at project and service sites. Installation of cable containment for LV & HV jobs. Follow all safety protocols and contribute to the success of your team. Minimum Requirements:

GCSE Maths (minimum Grade 4 or equivalent). At least 2 years of work experience in any field. A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Comfortable with physical work and outdoor environments. A full UK driving licence. Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and Europe (overnight stays required). Benefits:
