Cabling Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Cabling Engineer to join a dynamic and expanding Security Systems company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in data cabling to take on a key role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data cabling infrastructure for IP monitoring systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms. Duties & Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a cabling in a variety of environments.
Conduct site surveys to assess cabling requirements for monitoring systems.
Install cable containment systems such as conduits, trunking, and cable trays.
Collaborate with the project management team to ensure installations meet deadlines.
Test and troubleshoot cable systems, ensuring proper functioning of connected devices.
What Experience is Required:
Proven experience in data cabling installations (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a).
Familiarity with network infrastructure and cable management principles.
Ability to read and interpret CAD plans and schematics.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary of GBP35,000 per annum.
Company vehicle and fuel card.

Location:
This role will be covering Gloucester, Swindon, Bath and Oxford areas with occasional visits to the head office in Bromsgrove.
