Cache Level 3 TA – Primary Mainstream

Tradewind are currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team to work in one of our nurseries located in Hackney. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).Job Duties:Creating a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and educational programmes.Supporting children's physical, emotional, and social developmentAssisting with personal care routines, including feeding, changing diapers, and toilet trainingObserving and monitoring children's progress and developmentWorking collaboratively with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of each childSupervising and engaging children during indoor and outdoor playPromoting positive behaviour and disciplineAssisting the Nursery Room Leader and teaching team as requiredImplementing phonics, numeracy, reading, and writing activitiesProviding support to the teaching staff as a Teaching AssistantDesired Qualifications:Level 3 qualification in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)Early Years Practitioner Level 2 qualificationEarly Years Practitioner Level 3 qualificationEducation, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:Strong understanding and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) frameworkPrevious experience working as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively plan and deliver age-appropriate activities.Good understanding of phonics, numeracy, and early literacy skillsBasic knowledge of child development and behaviour managementAbility to work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleaguesPreferred Qualifications:Additional relevant childcare qualificationsFirst Aid certificationExperience working with children with special educational needsNot interested in this role?
