CAD Designer - Environmental Projects Location: Bury St Edmunds Salary: Competitive, based on experience

I'm currently working with a contractor renowned for their expertise in designing and delivering water-based projects across the UK. Their portfolio includes lakes, reservoirs, wetland creation, river restoration, and desilting works. With a strong reputation for quality and a growing demand for turnkey solutions, they're looking to expand their design team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a CAD Designer who wants to work on meaningful projects that combine creativity, technical precision, and environmental impact.

The Role: As a CAD Designer, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative designs for a range of environmental projects. You'll work closely with internal teams and external consultants to produce high-quality drawings and contribute to the success of each project.

Key responsibilities include:

Producing detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD (Civils 3D experience is a bonus). Supporting the design process for projects such as lakes, rivers, wetlands, and reservoirs. Collaborating with specialists in areas such as ecology, hydrology, and environmental management. Contributing to the planning and permitting stages of projects where required. Ensuring designs meet client requirements and comply with relevant standards.

What We're Looking For: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Civils 3D experience is desirable but not mandatory. A background in environmental design, construction, or engineering is beneficial, but we're open to candidates from other sectors with transferable CAD skills. An interest in waterscape or environmental design. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. A proactive attitude and a desire to grow within the role.

Why This Role? This is more than just a design role—it's an opportunity to contribute to projects that have a tangible impact on the environment. You'll have the chance to work across varied and meaningful projects while being part of a supportive and forward-thinking team.

If you have the CAD skills and are looking for an opportunity to work on unique and impactful projects, I'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
