Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities
Create 2D layouts, P&IDs, and foundation drawings using AutoCAD. Develop 3D models, including steelwork and equipment. Produce detailed fabrication drawings. Provide guidance to junior designers and review their work when required. Lead drafting input on projects, ensuring quality and compliance. Conduct site visits when needed.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering. Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD 2D and 3D. Strong understanding of engineering principles and best practices. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Effective communication skills with contractors, suppliers, and team members.

Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to work on multiple projects. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work. Collaborative approach with a focus on teamwork and mentoring.
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
