Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in various CAD software and have a keen eye for detail. This role involves creating detailed schematics and designs, collaborating with engineers and architects to build accurate models, and ensuring that all drawings meet project specifications. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering high-quality technical drawings that support our projects. Responsibilities Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Solidworks. Create and modify schematics and 3D models to support engineering designs. Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and incorporate feedback into drawings. Create production drawings. Modify 3D models and revisions. Prepare BOM lists of appliances. Update stock numbers. Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports. Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness. Support the build process by providing necessary technical drawings and updates throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in CAD design. Requirements Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD & Inventor is essential; Solidworks proficiency is also acceptable. Strong understanding of engineering principles and sheet metal design related to schematic design. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. A relevant qualification in engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
