We are seeking a talented CAD Manager to join Tony Gee, supporting the management of CAD delivery on our major projects. Predominantly working on a large framework across multiple highway projects throughout England, you will be supporting our multi-disciplinary design teams with the implementation and management of CAD systems and standardisation. We are also experiencing growth in our power and marine sectors providing opportunities to support CAD Management on a variety of different projects. As a CAD Manager, you will play a crucial role in integrating with project teams’ leadership structures and ensuring adherence to our company and client standards.Responsibilities Develop and maintain project CAD standards documentation.Implement CAD best practices and standardisation of the drawing and model development process.Audit and peer review of project CAD deliverables for compliance with standards.Identify potential efficiencies in the CAD production process.Develop project-level CAD customisations and automation.Deliver training on CAD standards to project teams.Contribute to tendering for CAD Delivery. Experience Deep technical knowledge of various CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3DDevelopment and implementation of project CAD standardsDevelopment of CAD customisation in 1 or more common CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D)Experience working with common data environments, i.e. ProjectWise, 360Docs etcMin. six years of industry experience in the infrastructure sector.Min. three years’ experience managing CAD on projects.Experience working with multiple design teams across complex multidisciplinary projectsHNC or equivalent experienceAchieved or working towards a professional qualification Desirable Working to Client standards such as National Highways GG184Highways experienceDynamo/other visual coding skillsWorking with Common Data Environments General skills Motivated and capable of driving self-development.Clear and effective communication skills.Time managementComfortable delivering presentations and training.Problem SolvingCommutable distance to one of our UK offices.
