Job description We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and will be proficient in various CAD software applications. This role involves creating detailed schematics and technical drawings that support our engineering and architectural projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and architects to ensure that designs meet specifications and standards. Responsibilities Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings and schematics using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation. Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and translate them into accurate technical drawings. Create 3D models using Sketchup and SolidWorks to assist in visualization of projects. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports. Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards. Maintain an organized library of CAD files and project documentation for easy access by team members. Support the build process by providing necessary drawings and modifications as required. Qualifications Proficient in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, MicroStation, Sketchup, and SolidWorks. Strong understanding of engineering principles and architectural design processes. Ability to create clear and precise schematics that meet project specifications. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across various disciplines. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new software tools as needed. Shifts & Pay Monday to Friday 37.5 hours 08:30-17:00 or 08:00 to 16:30
