The team consists of approx 50 people in total who manage MDM's for Cancer patients, the cancer waiting times targets and the quality surveillance measures process for every cancer specialty across the Trust.
The position is currently based at the Royal Alex Children's Hospital in Brighton. Post pandemic, team members are also required at times to work from home.
Main duties of the job The post holder will:
Manage the MDTs
Track and report Cancer waiting times
Collect and monitor Cancer Services and Outcomes Dataset data (COSD)
Collect and monitor quality surveillance measures
Collect and monitor clinical audit data
Job responsibilities The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate they are able to manage a diverse workload on their own initiative, be excellent communicators, and be organised and systematic whilst accurate in the way they work. They must be able to work unsupervised, but also as part of the wider Patient Pathway Co-ordinator team. Significant data entry collection and management experience must be demonstrated upon application alongside having a qualification at degree level, or equivalent experience.

Previous experience of working within a multidisciplinary environment, including busy environments with multiple departments

Knowledge of the NHS Cancer Waiting times standards

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year, pro rata
