A growing business is looking for a skilled and experienced Audit Supervisor who is ready to advance in their career. You will deliver outstanding auditing assurance services to a wide range of clients, whilst also supporting the development of junior staff by ensuring they receive the training and knowledge needed to progress. As Audit Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Overseeing client engagements, including planning, execution, direction, and completion of financial audits, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Supervising, training, and mentoring team members. Reviewing and preparing financial statements for various client assignments as needed. Gaining a strong understanding of each client's business operations. Engaging with clients management teams to gather information, resolve issues, and offer recommendations for improvements in business and processes. Leading the audit team effectively to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Conducting substantive and compliance testing, identifying and addressing any discrepancies. Investigating and providing solutions for queries, ensuring all relevant issues are resolved. Performing other job-related tasks, as necessary. What we're looking for in an Audit Supervisor:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse client base, be familiar with documenting system procedures for complex processes, and be skilled at identifying key controls for testing and customizing compliance procedures. You should be comfortable with identifying risks during the planning phase, including audit and control risks, and adapting programs accordingly. Additionally, you should have: Intermediate to advanced experience in professional accounting practice. A degree in Accountancy or a related field. ACA/ACCA qualification. Strong understanding of accounting and audit software. Advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent communication skills with clients, staff, and management. Strong time management abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail. Effective team collaboration. A proactive and motivated approach.
