Capital Estates Technician

to join our team working on a full-time permanent basis,

37.5 hours per week . In return, we will offer you a competitive salary up to

£31,000 per annum . This role will be based at our Forest Holidays location, Sherwood Forest (Edwinstowe, Mansfield) along with regular visits to the Support Centre and occasional national travel. About The Role: Reporting to the Product Quality Manager, the Capital Estates Technician will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining the quality of our guest experience. This hands-on position focuses on refurbishing and improving the performance of existing hot tubs, maintaining the external condition of cabins, and implementing projects that enhance outdoor spaces. You'll support various capital projects, from decking builds to recycling point constructions, aiming to increase asset lifespans, reduce costs, and minimize reactive maintenance. Promoting a “First Time Fix” culture, you’ll also help train local teams in hot tub and decking repairs. This role requires independent working, travel to our support centre, and a proactive approach to resolving issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

Implement refurbishment and replacement of existing hot tubs. Support capital projects within operations team and other departments as required (staining cabins, decking builds, recycling point builds). Improve performance of existing hot tubs. Improve and maintain external condition of cabins. Enhance outdoor experience and safety for guests by rebuilding deckings or extending the life cycle of the asset. Reduce refunds and reactive maintenance spend. Reduce CAPEX labour spend. Promote a “First Time Fix” culture. Help train location operatives to undertake hot tub & decking repairs. Attend support centre regularly. Skills & Experience:

Experience working with Sunbelt Spas hot tubs or previous hot tub installation. Ability to select appropriate tools and equipment and use them competently. Requires independent working (away from home). Ability to accurately record progress. Only escalate issues that cannot be resolved independently. What We Offer:
