The Role: We are looking for an experienced car sales consultant for our main dealer dealership in Milton Keynes. The consultant will have a bias towards used cars but will also deal with new car customers. Minimum Requirements: Experience: 2 years in car sales (required) Full UK driving licence SAFE and FCA accreditation (helpful) Starting salary for a car sales consultant is £18,000 plus commission for the first 3 months, then transitioning to a scaling pay plan which sets the basic salary between £16,000 - £20,000 depending on the previous 3 months' performance. Our sales consultants can earn £60,000+ on this pay plan, and we are committed to compensating hard-working consultants appropriately. This is a full-time position with a 5-day work week that includes working Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis, ensuring a full weekend off each month along with a weekday off for weekend work. As a main dealer, all usual benefits apply, including a company vehicle. The sales managers are very hands-on and will assist with any tricky customers, as will the transaction manager.
