We are pleased to announce that Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a leading UK civil engineering and construction firm to recruit for a new Carbon Manager to join their developing team. This is an excellent chance to work on high-profile projects and lead innovative sustainability initiatives that drive decarbonisation in the built environment. Responsibilities of the Carbon Manager:

Ensuring the delivery of the sustainability policy and compliance with legislation and regulations across a range of diverse projects. Working closely with clients to set and achieve decarbonisation targets. Recommending and presenting low-carbon solutions to clients and stakeholders. Collaborating with the wider project teams on matters regarding BREEAM, and reporting progress and findings back to the design teams. A Successful Carbon Manager will have:

Demonstrable knowledge and experience in whole-life carbon and lifecycle assessment, ideally within the construction industry. Background knowledge of low-carbon building materials, building design, and circular economy principles. Ideally hold a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM). An ambition to grow and develop your career in the sustainability space.
