???? Responsibilities
As a Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer, you will:
Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs) following British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) standards, using advanced ultrasound technology. Conduct imaging using 2D, M-mode, Doppler, and tissue Doppler techniques across parasternal, apical, subcostal, and suprasternal windows. Produce detailed reports with accurate measurements and clinical recommendations using established templates. Identify and escalate findings of clinical urgency, such as severe valvular disease or cardiac compromise. Collaborate effectively with clinicians to ensure timely diagnosis and intervention. Maintain professional standards, including adherence to BSE accreditation requirements and ongoing CPD.

We are looking for an experienced Echocardiographer who:
Holds
BSE accreditation . Possesses a minimum of
2 years’ experience performing adult TTEs , with proven proficiency in echocardiographic imaging and Doppler measurements. Is familiar with echocardiography reporting systems, ideally McKesson. Has a strong commitment to patient-centred care, ensuring patient comfort and understanding throughout procedures. Has an
enhanced DBS certification .
