Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated individual to add to our team to work on a one-to-one basis with a young person with learning disabilities, based in Countesthorpe.
It is essential that you have access to a car and can drive to this location.
The weekly hours are fixed as below:
Monday - Friday:
7am-8.30am
4.30pm – 6.30pm
17.5 hours per week
Optional: Saturday 4pm – 7pm
You must:
Have patience and enjoy developing fun activities
Be able to provide personal care and domestic support such as pad changes and light housework
Be a driver
Ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum of level 2 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience in either a child or youth care setting, home care setting, or live-in care setting
Ability to work alongside parents on a day-to-day basis
Ability to work in partnership with other agencies such as schools and SEN specialists
