£12 per hour + paid travel time and mileage. Candlelight Care is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our dedicated and friendly, family-run team, supporting vulnerable adults in the comfort of their own homes within Wimborne and the surrounding areas. We currently have opportunities for both full and part-time Care and Support Workers. Our typical shift patterns run from 7am - 2pm and/or 4pm up to 10pm. We also ask for a commitment to working alternate weekends. Driving is not always essential depending on location. Key Responsibilities of a Care Support Worker: Every day is different when you work in Health and Social Care; however, you should expect to get to know your clients and their interests and needs. Responsibilities include: Providing emotional and practical support. Assisting with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing). Performing domestic household tasks and food preparation, tailored to each individual’s needs. Assisting with medication and the use of mobility aids and personal equipment. Reporting any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client to the Registered Manager.
