Job Title: Care Support Assistant Day Shift (24 hrs & 36 hrs) Location:

Belfast, Northern Ireland Job Summary: The Care Support Assistant provides high-quality, compassionate care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, supporting their independence, and promoting dignity and respect. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, collaborative, and committed to core values of customer focus, equality, and diversity. Key Duties and Responsibilities 1. Best Practice Report Maintenance Issues:

Promptly report any maintenance concerns to maintain a safe environment in compliance with health and safety standards. Training & Meetings:

Actively participate in staff meetings and training activities to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard and align with best practices. 2. Main Tasks Personalized Support:

Provide tailored support based on each resident's care package, respecting their physical and mental needs and promoting dignity, respect, and choice. Daily Living Assistance:

Encourage residents to engage in daily activities to foster independence and self-esteem. Personal Care:

Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support, including aiding those with disabilities and using personal equipment. End-of-Life Care:

Offer compassionate care and support to terminally ill residents or those with long-term illnesses. Environment Maintenance:

Ensure the resident’s living area is clean, safe, and organized, including managing soiled laundry and maintaining hygiene standards. Dietary Support:

Assist with meal preparation and mealtime support to meet residents' dietary needs. Customer Service:

Provide a welcoming environment for visitors and respond to telephone or emergency calls professionally. Activity Facilitation:

Engage residents in social activities and outings, both in-house and within the community, to meet physical and cognitive needs. Other Duties:

Perform additional tasks as directed by the Scheme Manager within the role's scope. 3. General Health & Safety Compliance:

Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all Health & Safety policies. Policy Adherence:

Follow policies, including the Dignity at Work and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion policies. Flexibility & Mobility:

Be prepared to work across different schemes and adapt to flexible working hours as needed. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From £11.82 per hour Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
