Buckshaw Retirement Village is currently looking for people who are passionate and enthusiastic about providing high-quality care to join our growing team at The Lodge, based within the beautiful Buckshaw Village, Chorley, Lancashire. The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK. Pay & Hours: £12.32 per hour + (50p enhancement for nights) 24 - 42 hours per week 12-hour shifts Day & Night shifts available Working on a rota covering 7 days per week (alternative weekends). The Role: We are looking for Care Assistants who can provide a high standard of compassionate and thoughtful care whilst carrying out their daily duties. You will support our residents to maintain their independence by helping with everyday tasks and activities, in line with their individual needs. You will work creatively with the team to provide bespoke care for each individual resident, helping to maximise their way of living. Full training is provided, so if you are new to the care sector, we will help you start your journey with confidence. We currently have day and night shift patterns working on a rolling rota.
