We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us. Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: This is an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented Support Workers, to work within a well-established service, supporting 5 individuals, with learning disabilities. This service has a large garden and a communal kitchen, dining room and lounge, which the people we support engage in house activities, eat their meals or even have a party or two! The people supported here enjoy a variety of different things, such as walks along the harbour to get a pub lunch and also going shopping. They would describe themselves as a fun bunch and love a good laugh. A great sense of humour is key to support them in their home.

The current vacancies are on day shifts, working 8am to 8pm. There is usually at least three staff members on shift during the day. We have full and part time roles available. We’re looking for candidates who are caring, dedicated, love working with people and share the values that make our charity so special. Prior experience of working in care isn’t always necessary. If you have other skills and experiences that you can bring to this role, we will give you all the support that you need to succeed.
