Care Assistant (Days)

MATERNITY COVER. This job position is maternity cover until JUNE 2025. With the chance of a full-time permanent job position if one becomes available. We are a 15-bed residential care home. We are a small home with a big heart. Looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hardworking, honest, reliable, patient, respectful, and kind. Most importantly, we seek someone who wants to provide outstanding care to our residents, assisting them to be as independent as possible. Must be able to work as part of a team and independently. Job role includes: Providing person-centered care Ensuring outstanding care is provided Assisting with all aspects of personal care along with nutrition, hydration, and emotional well-being Administering, storing, and ordering medication Adhering to all policies and procedures Reporting any concerns to seniors or manager Using the PCS system to document all care provided Using Vitalerter (Artificial Intelligence) alongside PCS to assist in providing care to the individual Reporting any safeguarding concerns to seniors or manager Attending hospital and doctor appointments Helping catering staff serve food and drinks Promoting independence Assisting with laundry Encouraging residents to participate in activities Qualifications: NVQ level 2 is preferred but not required as full in-house training will be given Valid driver's license Experience in a care home setting Proficiency in providing home care services Strong communication skills in English Basic IT skills Shifts:

12 hours Salary:

£12 per hour; any overtime work is £13 per hour. Expected hours:
