Why work for Homecarers? Would you like to be part of an amazing team working for a leading care provider in the Cheshire area? We are a recognised care provider rated GOOD overall by CQC (Care Quality Commission). We are looking for people who have a kind, friendly caring nature, who may want a change of career and flexible shifts. You don't need qualifications or experience; we offer a thorough 4-day induction programme to prepare you for your new exciting role.

Job Opportunity

What to expect:

You will be visiting clients in their own home in the Winsford and Northwich area, so you will need to be a driver with your own car. As a driver, you will also receive a pay enhancement to help with those additional costs.

You will be meeting several clients each day, so you need to be a great communicator and an even better listener, as our clients love to tell great stories.

You will be providing personal care and assisting with personal hygiene and dressing to get them ready for the day ahead.

Basic cooking skills, such as boiling an egg, making sandwiches, and using the microwave, are essential.

Our clients have a range of ailments that they need support with, so our Support Workers need to be patient and compassionate.

We have a variety of shifts available, including morning shifts, full days, and afternoons. We also have evening shifts from 6:30 PM to 11:15 PM which attract an enhanced pay rate.

Homecarers provide support to our clients 7 days a week, so alternate weekend working is something we require.

Homecarers are committed to the principles of equality and diversity in all services and employment practices. The Company recruits, trains, and develops employees based on their ability and the requirements of their job role. Starcare believes that valuing and managing diversity is about recognising and appreciating individual needs and differences and treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Homecarers was established in April 1994 in Liverpool with an aim to provide service users with the choice to remain in their own homes for as long as possible, promoting independence and healthy lifestyle choices.
