Our Flexi-Care option allows you to manage your own availability when you cannot commit to set hours, offering you the flexibility to do 1, 2, 3, or more shifts per week. If you are an experienced Carer with a valid SVQ2 (or working towards) and experience in delivering person-centred care to residents & service users within a Care setting, then we would be very interested in hearing from you. As part of our Flexi-Care option, we can offer you: Flexible Contracts, with a minimum of 1 shift per week Shifts managed via easy-to-use online rota app Excellent Rate of Pay: £13 per hour On-going Training & Career Development Opportunities Fantastic induction, training, and ongoing support to develop your skills and knowledge within the care industry Free Company Uniform Free Parking On-Site The Role: Working as an integral member of the Care Team, you will work closely to ensure the residents in the Home are cared for appropriately. The role can be both physically and mentally demanding; the ideal candidate will be expected to understand the empathy required with elderly people. Responsibilities: Promoting as full a life as possible for each resident Organising activities to keep the residents engaged Assisting with serving/preparation of meals, drinks, and clearing up afterwards Supporting the Nurse on duty, Physiotherapist, or Chiropodist when required Reporting any changes in residents' conditions to the Nurse on Duty Reporting any incidents within the home to ensure they are recorded in the incident book Caring for residents' property and belongings in the home as directed Ensuring any equipment is maintained and reporting any defects to a Manager Accompanying residents to activities outside the Home when required Supporting with personal care Cleaning up any spillages as they occur using the correct equipment as specified in the Control of Infection Policy Assisting with other duties as and when required Requirements: Ideally working towards or holding an SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care An understanding of National Care Standards and Codes of Conduct Maintaining confidentiality at all times A passion for delivering high levels of care at all times SSSC Registration or willingness to register within the specified timescale To Apply: If you feel that you have the qualifications, skills, and experience to excel in this post, then we would love to hear from you.
