A 51-year-old gentleman with Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus, living in the Billingham area, is looking for a reliable and friendly Care Assistant to join his team of workers.
The gentleman is a wheelchair user and is slide transferred with the assistance of one. No hoisting is required.
The successful candidate will be hardworking, professional, and able to work as part of a team.
Days and hours: 16 hours a week over 6 days. Cover for holidays and sickness in addition to this. Some flexibility with times of support. This can be discussed in more detail at interview. Tasks: The successful candidate will be required to help with: personal care meal preparation domestic and shopping support access into the community Experience: Some experience of care work is preferable but not essential. A full UK driving license would also be desirable but not essential.
