Support Worker/Personal Assistant
Ashington – NE63
To support access to community activities and occasional health appointments.
We are looking to recruit a support worker/enabler to assist a young adult to access the community with various activities.
Support Hours:
2hrs per week – this can be negotiated at various times.
This person enjoys walks in the countryside or somewhere not too busy but also likes things like escape rooms etc.
MAIN DUTIES
Support to access the community, out and about. Support to become more active. Support to occasional healthcare appointments to understand these discussions and outcomes.
Rate of pay:
£13.09 per hour. Holidays are 5.6 weeks per year, pro-rata.
Person Specification Have some understanding of how health can impact on mental health and well-being. An understanding of anxiety and the impact this can have. The need to take small steps to develop a relationship. Must hold a full UK driving license. Female applicants only.
An Enhanced DBS Check is required for this post, cost will be met by Northumberland County Council. Rate of Pay:
