Enabler required for a young man with autism in the Alnmouth area to support with 5 hours per week.
Hours can be arranged flexibly but will be required mainly on either a
Monday
and/or
Friday
with an occasional request for weekends, which will be discussed at the interview. Experience in working with young people with autism preferred but not essential. Hours of work:
5 hours per week Rates of Pay:
£13.09 per hour Main Duties: Enabling support required with socialising and accessing the local community and visiting places of interest. Successful applicant to be comfortable in cycling as independence is encouraged using a bicycle, and road safety is to be supported. Activities accessible by bus or train, as this will be the client’s main mode of transport. Worker to have an interest in gaming, specifically Nintendo games, fitness, and going to the gym. An interest in baking or cooking would also be an advantage.
