Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and provide compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves supporting residents with their daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
Engage in meaningful interactions with clients to provide emotional support
Support the implementation of care plans under the guidance of senior staff
Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
Accompany residents to appointments and outings, if required
Contribute to creating a safe and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
Proficient in English to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues
Experience in home care or a similar caring role is advantageous
Ability to follow care plans and work well within a team
Basic IT skills for record keeping purposes
A valid driving licence would be beneficial for certain duties
