Guaranteed Hours Community Care Assistant Bishops Waltham Permanent (Full or Part time) Must be a driver £13.00/Hour Weekdays - £13.50/Hour Weekends No Sponsorship offered At All-Care, we are passionate about providing the very highest levels of service to our clients and ensuring that we offer a great place for our staff to work! Our team supports clients living in their own homes with a variety of personal care requirements and activities. We have an ongoing need for Domiciliary (care in the person's home) Care Assistants to join our team. This role would suit reliable, kind, caring, and compassionate support workers looking for a role offering a high level of job satisfaction. No experience is required, and you will receive 4 full days of training, along with shadowing of current Healthcare Assistants. Responsibilities & Daily Activities Assist customers to get up, dressing and preparing them for their day Washing, bathing, showering, oral care, grooming Toileting, assisting with use of commode, emptying commode Continence management Using manual handling equipment as specified Working with other care professionals such as District Nurses, GPs, etc. Assisting with prescribed medication Assist customers to go to bed, including undressing and washing Preparation of meals and assistance with feeding General household duties Bed making and laundry Shopping and supplies management To keep accurate records of care visits Key Skills & Competencies Genuine care for others Good communication skills Ability to understand what the role entails Ability to follow instructions To be able to attend all customer visits To understand the importance of such visits To be able to cope with emergency and difficult situations Benefits £13.00/Hour Weekdays - £13.50/Hour Weekends 40p per mile fuel allowance Refer a friend scheme - £250 Eligible for a Blue Light Card 28 Days including Bank Holidays (pro rate) Quarterly prize draw Employee Assistance Programme for your well-being Full support from the very beginning ensuring you are fully competent with an Open Office policy, if you want to chat with a Care Coordinator for any reason Opportunity to gain NVQ qualification in Health and Social Care DBS and uniform paid 18+ We are not able to offer Sponsorship #05271 Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour Benefits: Company pension Health & wellbeing programme On-site parking Referral programme Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekend availability Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required) Work Location: In person
