We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our homecare team in Bridgend. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming. Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Provide medication reminders and monitor clients' health conditions. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed. Offer emotional support and companionship to clients. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Qualifications

Relevant caregiving certifications preferred. Previous experience in homecare or similar caregiving role not necessary but desired. Strong personal care skills and basic medical knowledge. Excellent time management and communication skills. High level of empathy and emotional intelligence. Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and transfers. Understanding of elderly care and common health conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and privacy.
