A lovely small elderly Care Home on Hayling Island is currently seeking friendly and experienced Care Assistants on Days and Nights to join their dedicated care team.

This intimate residential care home is furnished and decorated to a high standard with a modern yet classical feel. The home is close to all local amenities as well as only a short distance to the beach.
The service has a homely atmosphere where clients are treated as individuals with a person-centred care plan. Residents are encouraged to take part in group activities and are supported in pursuing their own individual hobbies.
Full training and inductions will be provided no matter the experience level of any new Carers joining the team, and support is always available from Senior Care Assistants and senior staff members.

Main duties for care assistants are as follows:
Providing personal care such as assisting with washing, dressing and using the toilet
Manual handling and assisting residents to move around the home, using equipment where required
Working collaboratively within a team of other Care Assistants to provide a high quality of person-centred care
Assisting residents with food and drink throughout the day
Promoting residents' health and wellbeing, enabling them to live their lives to the full in their later years
Desirable for Care Assistants:
Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker
NVQ’s within Health and Social Care and/or the Care Certificate
