We are recruiting for aCare Assistantto join our lovely team on a parttime (20 hours per week, permanentbasis) based in the York area.In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £15 per hour (increasing to £16.50 after 6-month probation) plus additional sleep at £100 per night.

The Care Assistant Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant to join a team for a lovely lady in the York area to maximise her independence following a road traffic accident in 2015.
She has a spinal cord injury resulting in Tetraplegia and at present has significant mobility problems. She is living in a village on the outskirts of York. The client enjoys cooking, baking and participating in a well-established exercise programme.
We believe this opportunity is commutable from – Leeds, York, Thirsk, Harrogate and all surrounding villages.
What we are looking for in our Care Assistant:
Applicants require an empathetic & dynamic approach, with the ability to promote independence. You will be required to engage with the client in home & community activities.
Experience preferred with moving and handling tasks and delivering personal cares.
Driver/full licence essential.
Flexible approach necessary with regards to working shift patterns.
Successful applicants will receive support, training & supervision.
