Support Worker
Pay rate: up to £16 per hour (monthly pay)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday - 24 hour shifts (8am-8am with sleep in)
Requirements: Must have a Full UK Drivers License

We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in Milton Keynes who suffers from a brain injury as a result of a motorcycle accident. In his spare time, he loves to go out into the community, going to the pub, attending the gym and physiotherapy sessions so this role will require a strong companion to assist him day to day. Key Responsibilities Support Workers cover all manners of support for others - from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping. Support with all facets of daily living. Assist our service user whilst out in the community. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment. Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times. Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members. Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy. Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided. Aid with light household chores which may include cooking and cleaning. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support. Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required.
