We are recruiting a minimum of 2 full-time or 4 part-time Care Assistants (female) to provide care and support to people living in Monkseaton, Cullercoats, and surrounding areas (NE25, NE26 & NE30). If you are the kind of person that can make people smile while visiting them in their home, then a Care Assistant with Be Caring could be the right fit for you. You do not need a degree or care qualifications to be a Care Assistant, but you will need the right values. Each day is varied, and you will need to have a can-do attitude. Pay:
£12.00 p/hr (drivers) & £11.50 p/hr (walkers) Mileage - 45p per mile for drivers / 20p per mile for cyclists Bonus schemes: up to £300 new starter, £300 Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus, £25 birthday gift voucher. As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, your working hours will be aligned to our shift patterns, which for this role include early starts, late evening, and weekend working: Full days: 7am - 2pm then 2pm - 10pm Working alternate weekends We will agree on your working pattern, setting a 2-week rota which includes: Alternate weekends your working hours Evenings as agreed Benefits: Fully funded DBS. Paid induction training: 1 week classroom-based (Monday - Friday), 2 days shadowing, and additional online modules. Training development: funded Level 2 and other accredited courses. Holiday pay: annual leave accumulates with working hours and length of service. Employee Assistance Programme (EAP): 24-hour helpline, advice, and guidance for yourself and dependents. Induction Training: We are looking for people with Be Caring values to join our team. For this role, you do not need care experience; we recognise you will have many transferable skills from previous roles, for example, as a shop assistant. We will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, you will be provided with comprehensive induction training on: Be Caring values, going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes.
