Full-time, Part-time Chestnut Lodge Nursing and Residential Home is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a warm and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities: Assisting residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting. Supporting residents with mobility and providing assistance during mealtimes. Engaging residents in social activities and promoting a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Maintaining accurate and updated records of residents' care and activities. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for residents. Providing emotional support and companionship to residents. Requirements: Prior experience in a care setting or relevant certification is essential. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards the elderly and individuals with varying care needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekdays and weekends.
