Care & Support Assistant - Bank Team Location: Kenwith Castle - North Devon - EX39 5BE Pay Rate: £12.50 to £12.75 per hour (plus accrued holiday) We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Bank (Days or Nights) Care & Support Assistant TEAM at Kenwith Castle our friendly, social, residential and dementia care home. You will be part of our support team, assisting the home on a Bank Contract - giving you flexibility & choice. As a not-for-profit charity within Social Care, we focus on the reward and recognition of all our people, our benefits include: Blue Light Shopping Discount Card Reward and Recognition Schemes Employee Assistance Programme Industry Based Qualifications What you will be doing:
Delivering excellent person centred care. Supporting & encouraging our residents to remain as independent as possible. Providing elements of personal care including washing & dressing where needed. Building relationships and providing companionship - getting to know our residents! Working in a team to create a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the home. Who we are looking for:
We want you to have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You'll need to be naturally compassionate and understanding of others. Previous care experience is not essential. A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you. You need to be over 18 years of age to apply for this position.
