Leicestershire County Care Ltd has been successfully running Residential Care Homes within the Midlands area for over 10 years. The foundation of this company is built on providing a safe and homely atmosphere where residents have the ability to live their lives in a nourishing and supportive environment which promotes their independence. We are currently seeking Health Care Assistants for vacancies within our Woodmarket House, Care Home, night and day shifts. Main responsibilities involve being a supportive and important member of a caring team, participating fully in the delivery of care with quality and standard. Health Care Assistants must be able to give detailed care with reference to key-workers. Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assisting with moving and handling residents Carrying out all aspects of residents' personal hygiene General supervision of residents during mealtimes; assisting residents with meals as necessary Maintaining and recording necessary documentation General cleansing and disinfection of equipment Maintaining Health & Safety standards Participating in all forms of social and recreational activities Skills/Requirements: Good numeric and literacy skills Caring attitude Good communication skills A strong team worker Supportive and patient Reliable and punctual Willingness to develop new skills (to NVQ 2/3) What we can offer you?
