Who We Are: We are a privately run care agency in Saffron Walden and the surrounding areas. We are a small company with a very personal approach to all our clients and care staff. The Role: To provide care following best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Senior Carer/Nurse. To support and enable Service Users to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual and to keep skills at a current level, undertake such training and development as required from time to time to maintain and progress knowledge. Care Assistant Worker Responsibilities and Duties: Role Specific: Ensure Service Users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing. To contribute to the efficient running of the service. Support Service Users to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community. Ensure Care Plans and other information about how to support Service Users are followed. Be responsible for informing the Senior Carer/Nurse of any changes in the needs of Service Users. Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support. Working with Others: Develop effective working relationships with other employees within Saffron Support Ltd. Work in cooperation with members of the multi-disciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for Service Users. If desired by the Service User, maintain and develop relationships with family, friends and other people important in their life. The Ideal Candidate: Will have previous experience working in similar roles & environment. Experience of working with Service Users, in particular, those that may have additional support needs. Be able to treat people with kindness. Will understand the importance of empathy in all areas of employment. Focus on how things could be done better and share ideas. Good English - Written and verbal. RQF Qualifications in Social Care. Candidates must be a car driver and have access to a car. What we offer in return: Saffron Support will pay for your DBS. Full training. When starting with the agency, there is an opportunity to sign up for a level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care. You will be enrolled in a Pension. You will receive 4 weeks of paid holiday a year, plus 8 bank holidays. Job Type:
